The same fees, read against the local rules
Every state and territory is handled remotely. Section J and NatHERS are available everywhere. BASIX is added only in New South Wales. There is no travel charge and no local studio to visit.
NSW
Sydney
Sydney projects are assessed from the drawings, the same way as a job in Newcastle or a warehouse on the western logistics estates. There is no site visit and no travel charge.

QLD
Brisbane
Queensland projects are quoted and reported from the drawing set. Being in Brisbane, the Gold Coast or a regional centre does not change the method, and it does not add a travel fee.

Adelaide
South Australian commercial work is handled remotely. Shop refurbishments, office fit-outs, warehouses and public buildings are quoted from the drawings, not from a trip to Adelaide.

Hobart
Tasmanian projects are often smaller, and they are still assessed properly from a complete drawing set. Distance is the reason the work is done remotely, not a reason to thin out the report.

Western Australian projects are quoted and reported from the drawings. Distance does not change the assessment, and it is not billed as travel.

ACT
Canberra
Canberra commercial work is often offices and public buildings, with shops and storage buildings as well. The report is prepared from drawings for the certifier assessing the application.

Melbourne
Victorian projects are assessed from the drawing set. A Melbourne tenancy, a regional shop and a warehouse on the western or south-eastern industrial estates are quoted the same way: no site visit, and no travel charge.

Darwin
Northern Territory projects are quoted from the drawings. Distance does not change the report and it is not added as travel. A Darwin office fit-out and a warehouse or public building elsewhere in the Territory are handled on the same remote basis.
