Section J reports for fit-out companies and designers in Victoria

Tenancy and interior Section J reports for Melbourne and Victoria. Quoted from the fit-out drawings, not as a whole-building reassessment by default. From $650 inc GST.

Interior fit-outs are a large part of the Melbourne work. The report follows the tenancy on the drawings and is not widened to the base building unless that is the scope.

Victoria moves to NCC 2025 on 1 May 2027. Until then, most current Section J applications are still under NCC 2022 unless the certifier has called up NCC 2025. The compliance summary names the edition used.

The climate zone comes from the address on the drawings. A central Melbourne project and a site in a cooler or more exposed part of Victoria are not assessed as the same climate.

Turnaround is 48 to 72 hours from full drawings after the quote is accepted and the set is complete. A fixed quote is given after the drawings are reviewed. The starting fee is for a straightforward project. A larger floor plate, more than one classification, or an incomplete set is priced before you commit. One minor revision is included. A minor revision is a correction, or a small drawing change that does not add scope. A new tenancy, a different classification, or a redesigned façade is quoted again.
