Tasmanian projects are often smaller, and they are still assessed properly from a complete drawing set. Distance is the reason the work is done remotely, not a reason to thin out the report.
Shops, public buildings, offices and warehouses in Classes 5, 6, 7b and 9b are in scope, including new buildings. A fit-out that only changes lighting and services is assessed on those items. It is not turned into a fabric rebuild of the existing envelope unless the drawings open that envelope up.

Tasmania moves to NCC 2025 on 1 May 2027. The report names the edition the building surveyor is using. Send that edition with the drawings if it has already been set.
Where the envelope is in scope, a cooler climate zone changes the fabric comparison. A Hobart address is not assessed as a mainland coastal site, and an inland Tasmanian site is not assumed to match Hobart.
Reports are From $650 inc GST. The fixed quote follows a review of the drawings. One minor revision is included. A 50% deposit starts the work, and the balance is due before the report is released.
