Sydney projects are assessed from the drawings, the same way as a job in Newcastle or a warehouse on the western logistics estates. There is no site visit and no travel charge.
The work that comes through is usually a Class 5 office fit-out, a Class 6 shop, a Class 7b warehouse, or a Class 9b public building, plus new buildings in those classes. A tenancy fit-out is not quoted as a whole-building audit. The report follows the scope on the drawings and the items the certifier needs demonstrated.
Sydney referrals are often a Class 5 office fit-out, a shop, a warehouse on the logistics estates, or a public building. The compliance summary names the edition, the scope, and what is still open.
Tenancy fit-outs in Sydney towers and business parks are quoted on the fit-out drawings. They are not turned into a whole-building reassessment unless that is the scope the certifier has asked for.
New South Wales moves to NCC 2025 on 1 May 2027. Until then, a current Section J application is usually still under NCC 2022 unless the certifier has nominated otherwise. Where a New South Wales variation changes an item in scope, the report records it.
The climate zone is taken from the site address. A coastal Sydney project and a site further west, or in a hotter or cooler part of New South Wales, are not given the same zone out of habit.
Reports are From $650 inc GST. The fixed quote follows a review of the drawings. One minor revision is included. A 50% deposit starts the work, and the balance is due before the report is released.
